6 Ways To Keep The Aroma of Any Space Smelling Divine

6 Ways To Keep The Aroma of Any Space Smelling Divine
Do the smells of fall bring a smile to your face? Can bad odor or a strong perfume give you a headache?

Are you sensitive to smells? Well, you’re just like me.I, too, am very sensitive to smells. So much so, that I’m going to give you a few tips on how to keep all your spaces (room, car, workplace) smelling good and fresh!

6 Ways To Keep The Aroma of Any Space Smelling Divine

  1. Keep your car smelling good. Just like the first cup of coffee, your first ride in the morning is equally important. That’s why I recommend using car air fresheners like Godrej Aer Click. It easily fits the car vent and can be switched on and off with a simple click. What I really like about the fragrances is that they are all themed around outdoors: lush green forests, coral reefs and more.

  2. Make most of aroma enhancers for the passenger seats. A must-do for parents driving their children to school every day is making most of the best car fresheners. You can put in the cup holder or on the dashboard to keeping things easy-peasy. My favorite fragrance is Fresh Lush Green! Trust me this will prove very beneficial post-football practice sessions and birthday parties – when you need a whiff of the fresh outdoors.
  3. Peppermint oil to the rescue. I wasn’t kidding when I said I get frequent headaches due to smells. Add to that, a traffic jam, (or motion sickness), and I reach out to a small vial of Peppermint Oil in my bag especially. It has so many benefits and one of them is to instantly calm you down and soothe your sense. You can inhale it or dab 1-2 drops on your temples and hands.

  4. Hide that smoke smell.I don’t judge smokers or smoking. But I do know others do. Some just don’t like it and if you’re heading home to your folks or your children, it’s best to conceal it. I like Musk After Smoke Spray by Godrej Aer so that others around you don’t get to know you smoked – Just spray it in the room as soon as you enter and see the cigarette smells vanish!

  5. Say yes to Vanilla. Be it in a perfume, scrub or a candle, the scent of vanilla is universally known for its soothing properties. I got into the habit of using a lot of candles (who needs an occasion for your space to smell good) and I always have lit, especially during the colder months. You can also surround the candle with coffee beans to make the most of both.

  1. Don’t forget your restroom.Your bathroom is the place where you do “all things private” but also what guests judge harshly. I bought a diffuser along with bergamot, jasmine, and ylang-ylang essential oils for my bathroom. When guests are coming over, I usually hang an Aer Pocket to keep things smelling good. This’ll prove useful in the holiday season when there are so many parties.

These three are currently the only ones I have on my dresser right now. @biooilusa is known for stretch marks but there have many studies for acne scars and dark spots. (Please don’t use on active acne). I also find it much lighter than the other two. @soultree.in Radiance Face Oil with saffron and turmeric is pale yellow and has thicker consistency with apricot and sunflower seed oil amongst other ingredients. For PM use only. Also these are very common ingredients & can be found by other Ayurvedic brands. @nourishmantraindia 8 in 1 rejuvenating facial oil has rave reviews but off late, it’s been triggering headaches for me so I’m gonna use it on hands, neck and lips. My current favourite would have to be @cosrx AHA-BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner. ✨It’s super light, non-sticky watery in texture. ✨ ingredients include willow bark water, apple fruit water, glycolic acid amongst others✨don’t think of it as a light formula. Your skin will purge especially if you have hormonal issues or acne. ✨ great for clearing blackheads especially on the nose. ⁣Which is your favourite toner with actives? Hi guys, tried my hand at #WaterShotWednesdays witHi guys, tried my hand at #WaterShotWednesdays with 𝗟’𝗢𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. I know this isn’t a new product but I was using two, very potent toners (Pixi Glow & Cosrx) and wanted to give it an honest review. It retails for Rs 799 for 65 ml. They also had an introductory sample size when the product launched. Now there are a couple of things I want to address in this post…𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲?To put it simply, it got famous because of 10-step Korean Beauty routine. It’s used after cleansing and usually has a combination of ingredients that chemically exfoliate your skin as well as ingredients that hydrate skin or improves the skin’s pH balance. I believe Charlotte Cho of Soko Glam said “think of it as a watery lotion.”How to use & Key IngredientsTake 3-4 drops on the palms of your hand and apply it on your face. L’Oreal has tried to get that right across their platforms & product pages. P.S: this is not supposed to remove makeup so make sure your face is clean. Marketing only focusses on 2 ingredients: salicylic acid, every acne prone skin’s best friend which is also a BHA or a beta-hydroxy acid, and Centella Asiatica aka 𝗚𝗼𝘁𝘂 𝗞𝗼𝗹𝗮, a staple in Ayurveda. What to ExpectI was prepared for my 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲 especially around my chin because I get hormonal acne from time to time. When using actives, you may or may not break out depending on your skin type & concerns but I did break out. However, my skin does feel smoother. The brand asks you to use this daily because it’s super mild however, the concentration is not mentioned (it’s number 9 in the ingredient list) so do as it suits you. Lastly, don’t forget sunscreen when using any actives on your skin...#watershot #watershotwednesday #watershotwednesday💙💦 #skincaretexture #skincareproductreview #lorealskin #lorealskincare #essence #kbeauty #kbeautyskincare #kbeautyindia #koreanbeautytips #salicylicacid #centellaasiatica #beautyreview #howyouglow #skincareflatlay #skincareflatlays #vsco_india #beautyeditor #beautywriter #beforbeauty #affordableskincare
#minireview After using & finishing @neutrogena Hy#minireviewAfter using & finishing @neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel this summer, I bought the Hydro Boost Gel cream for Rs 750. This cream is considered a dupe for Tatcha Water Cream (which is not available in India and costs a bomb) and Clinique Moisture Surge 72-hr Auto Replenishing Hydrator which costs Rs 2,550 in India. A cheaper alternative, the prominent callout for this cream is its key ingredient hyaluronic acid, a humectant produced by our own bodies which deplete with age. Hyaluronic acid along with other ingredients helps attract moisture & seal it too, preventing transepidermal water loss, commonly known as 𝐓𝐄𝐖𝐋.⁣I didn’t know this but this cream, just like Clinique has dimethicone too. 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐞 is found in makeup (I see it in my primer all the time) and is a silicon polymer which makes skin feel & look smoother. Upon research, I also found that it’s NOT bad for all skin types and also minimises the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles on usage. However, if you’ve moved onto a place in your life where you’re strictly trying to use silicon-free products, you can skip this (and Clinique too).⁣𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞. Dr Dray, who I religiously follow on YouTube, also says this cream can be applied as a spot treatment on really dry areas or problem-specific areas for good results too. I love a humectant based cream and I think it can be used or layered with another cream in harsher weather. ⁣✨Affordable✨Super-fast absorption✨Non-comedogenic✨Contains parabéns✨Lightweight/gel formula ..#skincare #hyaluronicacid #nuetrogena #skinessentials #foodforskin ##beautycare #beautytip #skincarejunkie #crueltyfree #howyouglow #beautyreview #beautyflatlay #skincarelovers #facecareroutine #skincareblogger #skincareblog #skincarecommunity #skincareroutines #beautywriter #beautyeditor #newpost #ipreview #facecream #texturetuesday #vsco_india

While I was on supplements and special serums (more on that later) and wrote all about them, the one thing I didn’t address was Bhringraj, an ingredient staple in Ayurveda. Back in August, I bought @kamaayurveda Bringadi Oil in a desperate effort to reduce my hair breakage. I know some people who regularly oil their hair but I had given up scalp massages just because I didn’t really like the whole idea of vigorous hair massages anymore. Here is why I liked this product…⁣Ingredients✨Bhringraj (stops hairfall), Gooseberry (aids hair growth), Indigo (natural colorant), Liquorice extracts all blended in milk & sesame oil.⁣How I apply it✨I use a cotton pad to apply it on my roots and then I comb it out which helps me distribute the oil better to the length of the hair too. I don’t keep it on for more than hour and only put it on days I shampoo my hair.⁣Results✨-It seems my telogen effluvium or hair shedding phase has finally calmed down which means there’s lesser hairfall.-I am not a fan of the smell but a very gentle massage helps me calm down in the morning, in between Zoom calls.-It conditions hair, so if you have frizzy hair, it’ll only make things better.... #hairfallcontrol #hairfalltreatment #hairlosstreatments #hairthinning #hairjourney #hairthinning #healthyhair #hairoil #ayurveda #ayurvedahaircare #glossyhair #hairtips #haircaretips #haircareroutine #minimalist #diyhair #diyhairmask #diyhair #telogeneffluvium #beautywriter #beautyeditor #beautyeditors #hairblogs #discoverunder10K #kamaayurveda #indianbeautyblog #vscoindia_co #ipreview via @preview.app
