Heavy Foundations just might melt before you arrive at the destination. Swap liquid foundations with the following products to ace summer makeup.
1. Mousse or Powder Based Foundations: I think the first time I tried a mousse based formula was in 2011. They are usually in a spray format and are much, MUCH lighter on your skin. If you can’t skimp on full coverage just because its Summer, use a small, very small amount of primer before hand. Use a kabuki brush for blending and voila–you’ll be done!
2. Switch to CC Creams: Colour Correcting creams are a boon for light to medium coverage. It’s ideal to use lightweight formulas that are oil-free and preferably have a mattè finish. To make most of a CC cream, start off by using a face cream on face and neck; make sure your skin is smooth and then blend it with your fingers or a clean sponge.
3. Try Tinted Moisturizers: Another great fix to conceal and illuminate your skin is by using tinted moisturizers. I have honestly seen a lot of tinted moisturizers that are as good as medium coverage foundations, some even better! And they mostly come with SPF, so are ideal for those of us who just want to use 1 products and be out the door.
