Hi guys!
I know it’s been a while since I wrote.
Thankfully, there are so many new things happening in the world of Beauty that I’m even excited for summer. I recently got samples of Glamglow Galactic Cleanse Hydrating Jelly Balm Cleanser and Glamglow Galactic Bubble Sheet Mask. And as much as I’m enamoured by selfies of Glamglow‘s iconic glitter mask or impressed by their marketing campaign #menwhomask, I wasn’t too taken in by the products initially. After using both products, I have a different opinion.
Glamglow Galactic Cleanse Hydrating Jelly Balm Cleanser
Packaging: I gotta say, this black tube is unlike anything other than what’s on my vanity cabinet.
Ingredients: I could guess it had charcoal from the start, but it’s not activated charcoal but bamboo charcoal. While that unclogs your pores of dirt and sebum, the secret ingredient is moonflower oil.

How To Use: Squirt some on your fingers (not your palm), and you’ll that this cleanser becomes milky in consistency (also goes white). I didn’t think it’d be that good at removing makeup but it really surprised me. I usually apply it after using micellar water so it’s great for double cleansing. If that’s not your thing, you can use the Jelly Balm Cleanser just like any other face wash.
Is it any good? Just like any other charcoal facewash, it’s great for a cleanse after a long day of work, makeup and sweat. I’ve been using it for 15 days now and I do see a considerable change; there’s a subtle glow.
How much? Glamglow Galactic Cleanse Hydrating Jelly Balm Cleanser retails at Rs 2000 and is available on Nykaa as well as Strawberry Net.

Glamglow Galactic Cleanse Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Bubble Sheet Mask
We all know there’s nothing better than a good sheet mask. To be honest, I see so many sheet masks doing what I do that I’m no longer impressed easily. Till Glamglow’s Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Bubble Sheet Mask IMPRESSED THE HELL OUT OF ME.
Ingredients: It was a Saturday morning which usually translates to a good shave, a face mask and lots of tea. I opened the Bubble Sheet Mask to find it potent with ingredients like green tea, bamboo charcoal as well as an amino acid called arginine.
How To Use: So I was surprised the instructions specifically said to keep it for 3 minutes. Isn’t that too little for a sheet mask? And then I felt something.

Bubbles! I had a foam face. It’s a carbonated bubble mask.
Is it any good? Hell yes! Please don’t judge my selfies. I took it in bad lighting. And without makeup.
I took it off in 3.5 minutes and my skin felt refreshed! Then I used the leftover foam from the mask onto my face.
Should you use it? Yes, if your skin loves a pick me up every now and then.
How much? Rs 200.
