In round 3 of our spa special, I went to one of my favourite heritage hotels in Delhi, The Imperial, to their salon which is really worth your time and money.
A sun-roof with beautiful canopies running through and through, an energy fountain and plush interiors of the salon give you a good feeling.
A quick chat with Spa Director, Hayley Louis Dack, and my therapist starts with a quick hair test. While he does that, I tell him my hair is easy breaking (not falling, breaking), which could also be because they are so heavily treated and also ‘coz I am trying to grow them.
Which is where he talks about how Imperial’s Signature Chronologiste Hair Ritual is great for those like us.
Tip: If you have experimented with your hair, and your wedding is right around your corner, I’d suggest you keep a separate budget to invest in a top-notch, result-oriented hair treatment like this.
A relaxing hair wash on a massage chair with Kerastase range, it’s time for the big thing.
After taking out the excessive amount of water, it’s time for my therapist to make a mask which is one-of-a-kind. As he mixes the potent concentrates, we get talking.

The mask uses Caviar extracts which includes Cationic derivatives and Silicone Concentrate that is responsible for the immediate softening of hair. Plus it also has Squalene i.e. essential fatty acids that are difficult to find in such concentration in products meant for everyday use.
Not just good for the strands, our scalp faces a lot of torment from us too. From product residue, wear and tear, to weakening of hair follicles, the mask is not just applied on the strands, but from root to tip. The mask also has traces of chamomile actives and pacific sea water (a powerhouse of minerals) that help soothe and clear out the scalp.
Tip: Choose the salon for hair rituals/facials/spa treatments wisely. A lot of retail chains may be using the same treatment but maybe saving on ingredients, which is a rip-off.
A relaxing massage and steam later, the mask was rinsed off. And the effect was instantaneous.
My hair felt really soft, even when they were dripping of water. A quick blow-dry later, they looked shiny, healthier than before. As the days went by, the effect didn’t wear off for about 4 1/2 days.
