Hosted at Wella Professionnel Studio in New Delhi, this was a great opportunity to see hairstylists from India to work together.
Take a look at some of the looks these guys came up with on Day 1. Stylists felt free to flaunt their individuality, form their vision, and allowed their creativity to flow freely.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1440″ border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self”][vc_column_text]
Come Day 2, and I got to spend a few minutes to speak to Diva. After suggesting that she should take off work, and head straight to Hauz Khas Village, we spoke about, you guessed it, hair trends….
Manavi: So what are some of the haircuts that are doing the rounds, for umm, long hair?
Diva: (Smiles) Ummm, well layers are still making the rounds but more seamless, and almost invisible.
Be For Beauty comments: Basically, this technique ensures that the layer fall down without seeing the shorter layers. Some of these are also known as the tierdrop haircut.

Diva: Oh very much so.
Manavi: And what about colour trends?
Diva: Balayage, or hand painting is doing the rounds in ramp and real life.
Be For Beauty comments: A highlighting technique, the colourist paints on the highlights by hand, and can scatter them throughout the hair in a more “natural” pattern.
