[vc_row full_width=”” parallax=”” parallax_image=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Well, I don’t know about you, but I am feeling colder as the days goes by. So I decided to start by making a bit of a transition in my wardrobe and at least getting out of some of the stuff that I’m gonna need.
One of the staples every winter, sweaters are also put through the yarn of #whatstrending this season. While my closet is filled with solids, I thought adding a quotient of prints to it would actually prove to be helpful.
I know it, you know it, at least the women in Delhi knew it by heart when they wore florals through summer. So it was pretty predictable when floral trends made its way to AW 2014.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1751″ border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]
Choose the base
I guess I was talking to a friend at the mall, and we came down to one thing. The black base is a bit more trickier than white (or any colour). I chose this sweater from Vero Moda at Koovs.com, because not only is the base white (which looks great on chilly mornings and early afternoons), sometimes you can looking all digital, without meaning to.
Balance out your figure
So I don’t have narrow shoulders, but I do feel a bit more fuller waist down, and, to balance that out, I think florals came in handy. If I were to go for a black base, I’d probably choose a fitted bodycon dress (with stockings) with a clean print (I don’t like hotch-potch on what I wear).
How much floral, is too floral?
Now comes the part to accessorising with florals and sneakers: it could take you a minute…Afterall, you’re all about femininity and literally blooming with the flowers and everything, but then I added the sneakers. So i just decided to go with the flow and wore a very feminine but 1 toned floral neckpiece from Forever New that reminded me of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and The City, and all her sweater specials. My advice: just wear your fave trinket with knits. It keeps gets you going.

As usual, I kept the make-up just to a minimal, you’re welcome to leave a comment and we can talk about it.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1754″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Credits and Where-To-Buy: If you like the sweater or need a pair of skinny jeans, you can get it on Koovs.com, here and here.
Again, it was a blast shooting with Richa Singh.
