I hope you are all enjoying the new year vibes.
Last week was fabulous and energetic as I was invited to The Jabong Turfwar (Use #TurfwarIndia to check out updates) which was powered by Hummel. The two-day event was organized by AVS which brought together 16 college teams. The event saw over 10,000 spectators enjoy five-a-side football as well as an awesome fashion show held at GLBITM, Noida!
Danish brand Hummel is known for its sportswear and was the topic of conversation and #outfitposts when it comes to Athleisure! When I entered the event, I saw their latest collection available on Jabong. Personally, I do want to grab one of them, but more on that later!
As soon as I entered the place, a gush of enthusiasm hit me. All I could hear was loud music accompanied by hordes of students cheering for their team.
The winners of Jabong Turf War 5X5 was Team Sharda University who not only got the trophy but also won Rs 25,000.
I also must congratulate Sharda University on bagging the trophy!
All you need to know about Jabong Turf War!
I then headed to explore the event and wo-o-o!
The event was hosted by MTV VJs and campus idols Benafsha and Clint Verghese.
Not only did the event pep me up but also got me a little nostalgic. Seeing the crowd grooving to former MTV VJ Sophie Chaudhry’s songs, I re-lived my college days! The evening got more beautiful when she sang one of her hits and I was completely swooned if you are to trust me!
Let the fashion show begin!
And then began the much-awaited fashion show which was powered by GAS. I was lucky that I could click some gorgeous pictures from the nearest spot possible. And then again, they lived it up to the expectations and showcased some of the finest outfits from their stunning collection! Undoubtedly, the crowd shouted out loud!
The showstoppers were Splitsvilla 9 participates, Martina Thariyan and Shreeradhe Khanduja !
How can I forget to mention the lively dance performance!
And I was lucky enough to get this Tee from Hummel which is going to adorn me this summer.
