It’s peak monsoon season and Be For Beauty tells you how to keep your makeup minimal and natural with Pond’s BB Cream.
BB Creams or Beauty Blemish Balms–are much lighter than liquid foundations, are a must-try for the rainy season. Logically speaking, the humidity levels go much higher which means your makeup has chances of running down.
A water or gel-based BB cream will be light and non-comedogenic for your skin. Lastly, they are multi-purpose—they not only provide coverage, but also have corrective ingredients. Pond’s BB Cream has Vitamin E, allantoin and broad spectrum sun protection too. This helps you avoid multiple steps in your makeup regime.
So we think it’s best to keep your look natural with a BB Cream.
Here is one of my favourite looks using Pond’s BB Cream.
-Then, I dabbed NYX Above and Beyond Concealer with my fingers. I chose to go around my eye area, and 1-2 spots on my cheeks.
-Then I used Pond’s White Beauty BB Cream on my face and neck. Since I wanted seamless coverage, I used my BS Mall Fluffy Foundation Brush, going over some areas twice to attain an even toned complexion. Use any translucent powder/powder foundation to seal makeup. I usually use ZA True White Two Way Foundation with a sponge.
-Apply Blush sparingly just on the apples of the cheeks or use Bene Tint.
-For my lips, I used a mix of 2 lips in neon and muted pink from Avon and Ulta. Matte formulas are also a good bet in monsoon season to avoid feathering.
What I wore: A trip to H&M Select Citiwalk, and I bought an elephant printed top (it’s got a crossed back), and is from the H&M Coachella Collection. These white shorts are high waist, and super chic for the season.
My black shoulder bag is from Forever 21, DLF Mall, Saket and my sunglasses from the new Rayban collection.
