[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]August saw the launch of e-com beauty store, Nykaa launch its first offline store launch, at our favourite temporary haven, Terminal 3, Indira Gandhi International Airport. With luxury beauty brands like Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, and high-street favourites like L’occitane and Crabtree & Evelyn, here’s a stop we’d actually like to make en-route Gate 79.
Be For Beauty managed to catch up with Nykaa.com’s CEO, Falguni Nayar. Here’s what went down:
Q: What was the deciding factor that led to the opening of the store at T3?
A: The need for a luxury beauty store at airports.
Q: Who, according to you, is the target buyer?
A: Men and women who want to use best in class products to enhance and maintain their beauty. Busy business executives, frequent fliers and visitors from B-category towns.
Q: What are the two things that Nykaa offers which are different from its competitors?
A: An omni-channel model where Nykaa brings the wide selection of products to the store. Also, we conceptualised a digital store that brings more information to the customer.
Q: Which are your favourite brands?
A: Polo Ralph Lauren, L’Occitane and Davidoff.
Q: And your favourite picks from Nykaa?
A: Davidoff Cool Waters Sea Rose perfume and L’Occitane Lavender Shower Gel which is organically certified.
Q: Any advice to all the women starting their own enterprises online?
