Hey everybody!
I hope you’re enjoying the wedding season and all our tips in association with Truly Bridal by Kalyan Jewellers.
Today, we’re going to switch topics from Fashion to Beauty and talk about something every bride worries about:flawless skin.
Truly Bridal’s Sahiba K Anand shares some of her tried and tested tricks to flawless skin. You can watch her complete video here. What I really appreciate about the video is that Sahiba divides it up between 30 days, a week and up to 3 days before the wedding.
-If you’re facing breakouts, dark circles or fine lines, it’s wisest to consult a dermatologist. Speak to a few friends and research online to find a doctor that suits your needs. Make sure you’re comfortable with the dermatologist and also there are no side effects of the meds/ointments he/she prescribes.
-To retain a natural glow, facial massages are very helpful. Head to a reputed salon and take a skin consultation. Oxygen and Vit C facials offer hydration and add an instant glow. Since the ingredients used in a facial treatment are sometimes harsh, the best thing to do is to get them once in a month, preferably three days before the wedding functions.

-Don’t think of dieting; the stress of being the bride can sometimes cause you to overeat. Instead, eat a lot of fruits and veggies; incorporate vegetable juices, dried fruits and nuts to load up on Omega-3 fatty acids.
-Follow the 3 holy steps of skincare: cleansing, toning and moisturizing. Use a mild cleanser, followed by an alcohol-free toner and a nourishing face cream. Like Sahiba says, natural DIYs such as a milk bath and fruit pulp scrub are the safest for your skin.
-Finally don’t skimp on your sleep. Make sure you sleep early and get at least 7 hours of snooze time. Also, don’t sleep on your side; it makes your face look puffier.
