[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You know what you call a perfect Saturday? When you have had your cup of tea (I like tea in the morning), a kiss of make-up, a touch of sunshine and then head straight to the mall.
And that’s a cue for Robin Sparkles from HIMYM
Everybody come and play
Throw every last care away
Lets go to the mall, today
Back to it, there’s not much time to ogle at shop windows. After a cheery welcome from Arti, Deepan and Payal from Ripple Links, it’s time to start an interesting with Wella experts, Sapna Bhavnani, Amy (I forget her last name) and Gaurav, who is not only a fabulous hairdresser (personal experience, yes!) but also knows his facts about colouring.
This awesome bunch has a mix of beauty, fashion, travel, food and home decors and the works. Wondering what I am thinking about so deeply….Oh yes, colour me yellow![/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1930″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]
After a #colourupyourlife game, it was time to have a chat with Sapna Bhavnani. Inspired by style icon, Twiggy, she spoke about how coloring your hair can change your attitude, your mood, even the MEN in your life (Blondes really do end up have all the fun and Red-heads do come across as edgy-meets-rock chic)
Oh, and henna in your hair, is a mad-crap option for colour. Conditioning, yes! Coloring, not really. Plus that tinge of burgundy? Really? That color? I’d rather keep it all grey (and I am) like my Nani.
After this, Amy and Gaurav came over to introduce us to their Oil Reflections Colour Range which has macadamia oil (just like the serum I swore by last year), and retains the original color.
A Q&A session about colors from ash-grey to burgundy, risks you do when you do it at home and why you need a professional to know what he’s doing were some of the topics.
