Wear the Trend: Printed Jumpsuits

What’s up guys? Hope you liked my first post with 109 F on the classic shirt dress.

Next up, is this printed jumpsuit from Fusion Beats which is from the same umbrella. Earlier this year, we did a post on wearing a romper. And now, I decided to opt for this aztec-printed full-body jumpsuit. It’s cute, adds a pop of colour and its medium sized designs prove to hide a bump or two (don’t overdo it).

If you’d love to try one this season here are a few things to keep in mind:

Look leaner and taller in a wide-legged jumpsuit, says Be For Beauty

How To Buy A Jumpsuit:

  1. Super stylish: Be it plain or printed, cut sleeved or full sleeved, every jumpsuit can look super chic and stylish.
  2. V for Versatile: Be it one of my writing sessions or an event, I can easily sport this look. However, if I need to wear this at night, I’d accessorize a bit differently and viola! it’d look awesome.
  3. Look for medium fit jumpsuits, avoid skin tight jumpsuits. I have owned and killed a few jumpsuits back when I was much thinner.  But in fact, if I could go back in time, I’d opt for more jumpsuits that are slightly roomy and come with wide-leg pants. The natural fall of a jumpsuit lends a great shape to your body.

Lost in translation!

How to accessorize a jumpsuit:

For me, work is at home and cafes and events. Inshallah! work doesn’t require me to dress formally. So when I was shooting, I decided to make the most of these silver trinkets hidden in my jewellery box from years ago. The neckpiece is from a small shop in Thailand and the bangle/kada is my mothers.

If I wanted to make it more formal, I’d probably add a blazer along with kitten heels and a laptop bag.

If you’re chilling with friends or going on a vacation, remember less is more. You need a bright shade of lipstick and some cool shades: the prints will do the rest for you!

The black clutch/bag is from ONLY whereas those pair of shades are from Vogue Eyewear. You can choose to add a dash of colour or go colour blocking if that’s your signature style!
