Hello and welcome to another series as a part of our season special, Summer Cool.
After acing nail trends, tips for clear skin, makeup essentials and hair products (scroll to older posts if you’d like to read), it’s time to talk about how you should dress this Summer. If you’re not from Delhi, let me tell you that the temperature has already hit a whopping 46 degrees (OMG!) so I think it’s really important you’re comfortable every time you step out.
Now, this outfit has three major highlights: bright colours, print and the fact that it’s a jumpsuit. So let’s speak of this one by one.
Colour me up: I am all about solid colours. In fact, if you were to meet me you’d find me in denims and lots of white, but I think colours, BRIGHT HUES are an essential element of summer style.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1847″ alignment=”center” border_color=”grey” img_link_large=”” img_link_target=”_self” img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]How to wear prints- I know a lot of girls who fear wearing prints, and I am with them, ‘coz a trip to Select Citywalk is a sneak peek to how many women do it wrong. Now I’ve tackled how to wear prints to work earlier on the blog, but this look is solely for the purpose of chilling out.
Prints, when worn right, can give an added appearance of FUN and CASUAL: two things you’d want to look and feel when you’re stepping out with friends for a brunch, or for drinks, or on vacation.
Printed pieces can actually help even out your figure, really, try it out. Wear a solid/nude top with a printed pencil skirt, take a selfie and see the difference.

I have worn straight/baggy/full length and midi length jumpsuits and I love them. I think they are a huge relief from trousers/jeans etc.
This is a thigh-high jumpsuit from Miss Bennett London, available on Jabong.com making it a romper but it’s super comfortable. It has spaghetti straps making it ideal for summer. It has an elastic hold right in the middle, and is pretty sturdy, meaning it doesn’t shift and won’t call for unwanted attention. The trick to wearing prints, and this one is a very well known fact that should pair your ensemble with a nude palette. I kept the jewellery very simple: just a collar necklace, and paired up the jumpsuit with brown cat-eye sunglasses from Dorothy Perkins, Jabong.com. To keep the mood cool (weather-wise), I also think wearing a Fedora would really help, especially if you’re by the pool or on the beach.
Keep things trendy and functional with a sling bag, this one has tassels on it, and is again, by Miss Bennett London, available on Jabong.com, that give it a part-bohemian look to it. If Boheme is how you feel, then you can accentuate it further by layering up on costume jewellery (if the weather allows it).Be For Beauty’s shoot was done at Summerhouse Cafe, a cool place to hangout in Aurobindo Place, New Delhi. You can check out them out on Zomato and Facebook.
