Swarovski Wedding Collection

Swarovski Wedding Collection

We usually associate Swarovski with jewellery and gifting items but Swarovski’s exhibit at the Vogue Wedding Show proved that the there’s more to the brand.

We all know that there’s so much more to a wedding than just the outfits and jewellery. The venue, flowers, decor, even the linens matter. A wedding planner would agree that everything is in the details. After visiting Swarovski India’s Wedding Stall the Vogue Wedding Show 2015, here are a few, beatific ideas I thought would be great.

Decadent Decor

Flower Wall

#CrystalFlowerWall: If your friends already have a nickname for you and your beau , it’s time to make the most of it. This crystal-flower wall is an off-beat concept.  Sure it’s a bit blingy: considering the initials are embellished with 2000 Swarovski crystals. That, with fresh flowers, in tens of different hues will prove to be a idyllic setting for wedding pictures. PS: You can take the initials home, maybe do them up on a wall.

Decor Lights

#TheCascadeEffect: With the brilliance of diamonds and the effect of a waterfall, the cascade is a creation by Vincent Van Duysen. It can be be installed close to the floor or on the ceiling. This stunning piece used LED lamps and will be a perfect fit for luxury weddings in India.

Divine Dining

White and silver is a classic theme for the reception dinner. You can use these classy table mats and napkin holders for family and loved ones. If I were to invest these, I’d probably take them home, taking them out when I am hosting my favourite guests. If you look closer, you’d see crystal embellished champagne and water glasses.

These awesome napkin holders can work up your wrist game too: wear them as bracelets or hand cuffs to brighten up a look.

Ethnic Jewellery

No matter how many diamonds we buy, an Indian wedding is incomplete without traditional jewellery.  Polki and Kundan are classics and worn at almost every wedding by bride, family and friends. I was pleased to see intricate, well-designed Indian jewellery by Swarovski that can be worn by the bridal entourage and given out as gifts to close friends and family.

The designs are just a sneek peak of what Swarovski can do, in fact they can also customize the orders, which goes great if you have a particular design in mind you’d want to replicate or if you have a theme for the wedding.

These pieces can be customized into necklaces, drop earrings or maang tikas. I also saw great chokkers and earrings that are versatile enough to be worn if you’re attending weddings or other social events. Each of these pieces are priced differently.
