We know you love to shop, and are frequently looking for brands which are great on style and aesthetics.
An online fashion jewelry brand based out of India, I’m here to tell you about my experience with Damsel Code you can shop your fashion jewelry from! Read on to find out what I liked and what can be improved upon!
Damsel Code stocks most fashion or artificial jewelry trends
Most of us women have different moods and different accessories. While my Michael Kors and Anne Klein watches are my staples, I like to mix things up with earrings, necklaces or even bracelets from time to time. I guess a lot of us like to accessorize according to what we’re wearing and I think Damsel Code has all 16 trends we think need to be followed. If your taste is minimalistic and you often find yourself browsing through Etsy but not ordering because of import duties, you must check out their minimalist necklaces here. If heading to the beach, try out their bohemian jewelry pieces: some of the bracelets, chunky necklaces and earrings are really good. The best part? They have chokers for us career girls too: we wrote about them in our piece, our favorite gold pieces from Damsel Code.
Jewelry Design: What you see is what you get
You hear it on Facebook all the time: you order something online and mostly it doesn’t turn out to be as it should be. Thankfully, that’s not the case with Damsel Code. We ordered more than 10 pieces from Damsel Code and apart from being on time, the design was just the same as shown on their website. Phew!
Love Eclectic Jewelry? You’ve come to the right place!
I pick up things for Manavi and I from Mango, H&M, and Zara in Switzerland but there’s little to no differentiating factor since everybody winds up wearing the same jewelry. If you adore unique jewelry pieces, you must browse through their collection.
It’s great on pricing
As much as I love my diamonds from LD Sons, Tanishq and Carat Lane, I cannot buy them on a monthly basis. They’re a serious investment and CANNOT be misplaced. When it comes to stone jewelry, we’ve had a few local favorites like Dang’s, Zariin or Outhouse which are again higher on cost. Damsel Code, on the other hand, is very reasonably priced, considering their designs are on-trend. You can buy a necklace for as much as Rs 500.
What can be improved: clasps, hooks, and packaging
The package from Damsel Code which was superb on timing wasn’t very appealing: in fact, it was like any other package. The jewelry pieces were neatly stacked in see-through bags–some were bubble wrapped and some weren’t. We would have loved to see some Indian jholas since Damsel Code is an Indian brand. One of the other issues we had while shooting was loosing hooks and screws which are plastic. A lot of us, are careless (like me) or else just don’t want plastic hooks on something they spent on–so that’s something that could be improved.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience with Damsel Code.
