[vc_row full_width=”” parallax=”” parallax_image=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]So I am trying this new thing where I write something to you every morning.
It could be anything: a thought, a tip, a review, or just something funny. I thought we could cross our legs and just be informal for the first half of the day.
So I just looked at my hair today and I know it’s a hairwash day. Which means I am going to oil it.
I have started to love a scalp massage: if you do it right, it can be really relaxing.
My favourite technique, which is also the easiest, is to keep the tips of your finger on either sides of your head, while keeping the 2 thumbs, at the back of the head.
Now take dip your fingertips (notice I say tips a lot!) in oil (you can some serum too): I use a mix of coconut-castor oil. And just move your fingertips clockwise in a gentle motion. Keep your thumb stationary, at the back of your head. NOW, be gentle and only use the tips and not the fingers to apply the oil/serum. This way you’ll avoid any hair breakage whatsoever.
Now use the same technique and keep going backwards till you cover all parts of your head. For the ends, I just take 1-2 pumps of oil and massage it with my palms, as gently as possible.
Most experts suggest a scalp massage may not help hair growth, but definitely boost blood circulation.
15 minutes are good enough
You may or may not crack that problem in college or work today, but your head (and hair), will look and feel better after a good scalp massage.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
